HM Sultan Muhammad Fuad Abdulla Kiram I, The Sultan of Sulu & The Sultan of Sabah, meets MNLF Chairman Prof. Dr. Nur Misuari to discuss Sabah issues, peace and developments in Southern Philippines, with both agreeing that peace and peaceful co-existence with others, are the only vessels of hope and economic developments for the people of Mindanao and the region. Sultan Muhd. Fuad I and Chairman Misuari stress the need for unity and cooperation of all sectors to attain dividends of peace and they both abhor and reject any recurrence of war in Mindanao. They agreed to unite and work for peace and order and prosperity in Southern Philippines.
